Hello and welcome to Ogle Studios NP page. Ogle Studios is an independent photography studio located right in the heart of Southampton's city centre. We are in a prime location not far from West Quay, Southampton's popular shopping centre as well as being near to local bus links around the city and a 10-15 minute walk from Southampton Central station. Our studio is aimed at all areas of photography from families to weddings, modeling to glamour. The studio doesn't have outside parking but just 30 seconds down the road is an NCP car park or there is parking in West Quay's many larger car parks. The studio comprises of two studios, one on the main floor and a studio in the basement area. Both studios are of good size, the basement studio having a lower ceiling, and both have movable backgrounds which are controlled via a panel on the wall. The basement studio has a graffiti wall with chains, a nicely wallpapered area which has Laura Ashley wallpaper (See the picture in our images) along with a chaise longue and a selection of backgrounds (blue, brown, black and white). There is also space on other walls to use if you have a particular colour background or material you would like to hang. This area has a stereo so you can put music on whilst you shoot. The main floor studio has a staged area, along with 6 changeable backgrounds all controlled via a pannel on the wall. These include White, black, brown, blue, autumn theme, bookcase and a green field scene. The stage area is wooden floored and has a white flooring cover which can be removed. There is a makeup room/changing room downstairs next to the basement studio which has a full-sized mirror and lighting around. The studio upstairs doesn't have a changing room, but the studio is big enough for models to change in if need be. We also have a small kitchen with a washing machine, microwave and fridge/freezer. There are also toilets on site. We have various props but would advise to bring your own as what we have is limited. We have: Carpets (Black, white & blue) Throws (Baby pink, white and baby blue) Various colours of material Chairs/Stools (One leather chair one which can be used in the main floor studio only) *Electric Fans (Two tall standing, one industrial floor standing) The main reception area is large, bright and airy with a seating area. It also has a stereo so music can be put on to use in the studio upstairs. As I mentioned before we are located right in the centre of the city so any extra props or snacks that are needed on the day can be got easily! We rent our studio out at exceptional rates which are listed below: 1 Hour - £20 2 Hours - £40 Half day (3 hours max) - £60 We do offer a full day rental of the studio but you would need to contact us to find out availability and cost. To rent out our equipment its an extra £5 per light, of course if you have your own, that is fine.
