Thanks for stopping by to have a look at my portfolio. My background has mainly consisted of photographing weddings alongside working as a photographic printer in a professional laboratory (CPL Ltd Tonbridge Kent).This is balanced with time spent with my wife and young son.
My aim is to produce images somewhere between bridal portraiture and fashion. Mostly these are location shoots country hotels,older buildings Victorian,Georgian,jettys,lakes and woodland countryside.I'm more than happy to help a model with their own ideas for a shoot the more the merrier.Please read through these pointers as a guide to working me
TF*
I'm always welcome to offers for TF*(convince me you are reliable)- also with my printing background you will get quality images decently printed. What I normally do with TF* shoots is either upload the shoot to my website with a password for you to access. Or, post you a CD of web sized images then if you choose 6 or so I will retouch and print them to A4 size(or tell me what size your portfolio book is) on proper heavyweight photographic paper.I see TF* as a opportunity to work creatively with models, stylists and MUA's. The whole point of these shoots is to have fun experimenting with idea's, different lighting, poses, etc etc.
As a result, I'm looking for a handful of images that make a difference to our respective portfolios
Travel Expenses
I'm prepared to travel for a shoot and accept the costs involved so I'm a bit perplexed when I'm asked to cover a models travel expenses(for TF*)-so perplexed in fact I don't normally pay them.There is some strange misconception that all models are poor and all photographers are loaded!
Glamour Photography-err No!
I don't shoot glamour so don't be offended if I ask you to keep your clothes on! .
Cancellations
I appreciate things change, if we do agree a date for a shoot and you need to re-arrange the date, please give me as much notice as possible. This is because I will need to inform the venues etc. If you give no notice and/or stop responding to messages/emails after a shoot date has been agreed you will receive negative feedback. Politeness costs nothing !
Jaffa Cakes
Numerous Jaffa cakes and Minstrals (the sweets- as opposed to the blokes with flutes) will always be provided for those times I'm mucking about with the lights etc.
