I am wondering who else is having problems with this weather?  I ahve already lost one really good gig because I couldn't get a flight.

Is it just me or do we grind to a standstill the first hint of snow?  As a make up artist I work all over the country and it drives me mad when transport links fail me.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Luckily I work from home, the digital era really comes into its own now.

I agree though, why were we not ready for this. We keep having extreme snow lately at this time of year and everytime we grind to a halt.

Other countries have far, far worse weather and yet keep moving. Surely we can learn something??

I know what you mean dragon lady, I have actually been grounded for flights which has caused huge problems, I was due abroad and couldn't get a flight becasue the airports were shut, flights cancelled. 

Thankfully I have managed to sort it out in terms of travel, my work has been movied around.  January (fingers crossed) I am filming, a huge deal as I get out of the damn cold!!!!
