Just wondering people's opinions on which is my best and worst image. I know it's usually down to individual tastes but since we all tend to upload what we like it's good to get other's views.

Thanks folks,

Hi

Worst for me has to be 84956, generally the nasty borders you add to all your images (this has been mentioned before) is very off putting. Big bright clashing colours usually, not sure why you do this?

I would probably say your best is the main image 86038 but when I say best I mean best from your set. You used to have some better shots than any of these but I see they are gone now. To be honest the set you are with now is on the whole pretty poor in my opinion. From selective colour effects (yuk), bad photoshop effects (87704 and 84956) and pixelated images (84321) to the focal model too small in shot (87896). That just leaves 86038 which still isn't very crisp, artifacts around the legs and the face is a little over bright with the light in my view plus the background is way too busy.

I hope my feedback helps in some way, sorry it wasn't too positive but I prefer to be honest (doesn't mean I am right though, just my view).

Wholeheartedly agree with the previous poster, regarding borders.  I don't understand what you are using them for as, very often, they seem at odds with the rest of the image.

Overall, I get a sense that Photoshop is essential to you in producing a picture but I fear that you're using it to try and 'lift' pretty average photos.

Compositionally, most of them just feel like the model has been plonked into the space rather than specifically placed in harmony with the environment and so the narrative is lost.

I know this all sounds a bit negative but turn it around and you'll pick up the advice inherent in my comments...I hope.

Given that you have added borders to all your pictures I think we'd all pretty much understood that you liked them  Member Image
