With about 3-4 hours of photoshopping...... Yea fit for your port.

Ultimately, do YOU think it's fit for your portfolio. Does it sell you?
Does it give a photographer the incentive to want to work with you.

What the hell do I know about photography..... I'm a mechanic.

Yes it's fit for your port.

I can see exactly what you look like from that picture.

I'd use it instead of your main one until you have some proper pictures which because of distortion makes it appear that you have very fat legs, however I can see from the other pictures you haven't.

I think that your portfolio is in seriuos need of an update - contact a local photographer and ask him if he is willing to do tfp or search on here - put an add up - even better !!!
once you have a few decent photos (not from mobile phone) then i am sure with a bit of Hard work you should have no problem attracting photogrpahers depending on levels and rates - feel free to message me and i will be happy to edit the pic for you for free - it wont be great but it will be a lot better than what you have already :)

I disagree with you Tony !

A full length photo is so important - and the current images on Kirsty's port better meet that objective.

I would feel deceived if "this" image was used on Kirsty's portfolio as it fails completely to show her body shape.

This is the best image you have currently and will probably 'sell' you better than anything else you have. Your main pic does indeed make you look like you have enormous legs and as a further pic indicates that you dont.

I agree with Tony. Bin your current main pic, replace it with this one and OK, you run the risk of deceiving Costas, but I think the risk is worth it.

Am I allowed to reply very respectfully that I have been doing this job for 52 years next week, and Kirsty's pictures so far while absolutely not perfect are good enough to show me what she looks like. I could cope with them.

The question was would this picture make a good addition to her port, and I am saying yes it would, I see an attractive face the first thing I look for.

Yes Tony,

I utterly respect your experience as a photographer; I'm a beginner.

And I agree that the image in question is probably the most flattering.

But if a model's portfolio is akin to her "CV" then it needs to be an accurate depiction of that model.

But can't you see this is a chicken and egg situation, to get a CV you have to have worked! To get work you have to show what you look like, and you can only do that by using any means possible to attract that first photographer.
To get that initial work you gather together what you can, anyway you can, we all have mobile phones with cameras.
Most can tell by these pictures roughly what you'll get.
If I lived near Nottingham I'd happily take a chance on Kirsty and know pretty well what would arrive.
Several well known inter****s have started by using camera/phone pictures, Rebecca Amy for example.
This is the internet not a major international agency.

Yes Tony,

I agree with all that you say in your last post.

The fact that the image is from a phone-camera is neither here nor there; getting a quality image is down to the photographer.

And yes - Kirsty is very pretty.

My only point is that it is relevant to know whether the model you are working with is, for example, busty and curvy, or busty and slender, or for that matter, any other shape. That is why I'd always want to see a full length photo.

And just to make it clear,

KIRSTY - You ARE VERY PRETTY !
