I was contacted by this person via facebook he tracked me down via my details on here , he wanted me to do some work for him so i gave him a price and he didnt pay the correct amount trying to rip me off he paid a small part of it which i thought was very unprofessional, he is now threatining me to all my email addresses but i cant find him on here as i only no about him being on here because he told me, if anyone can help this is his name" and email  jason or jay temperley  ***

What the hell do I know about photography..... I'm a mechanic.

Probably a good move. If his e-mails are threatening or abusive the police should be happy to help....depends on how busy they are. Your first action should be to block him, and then report him to his ISP and his e-mail provider who will remove his internet access.

If you aren't sure how to do this, and the police don't help, drop me a line and I'll see if I can help.

Dreadful story that one - I hope all is getting sorted.  Maybe you would be happier to get on with some new paid work and let the police sort it out for you.  Yes, I agree with the advice about ISP, etc.  The scammer is definitely commiting crimes so the police have to help you.

Perhaps you migth like to look at my Highland Fling casting.  As you are not going to be too far away, would it interest you?

"Togs posin" is always a concern.

Seriously, treat any approach with caution especially if it is not from a dedicated site.  A model contacted me recently on another site to verify that I was indeed the one she was chatting to on MSN - I wasn't but he was quite happy to talk her through my pictures and explain how he had shot them - very worrying and I did report him on that site.

Check for references, check with the models who left them, and treat any off-site approach (FB/Myspace/MSN) with caution.

I no its really worrying it has shocked me so much, i have just offended a innoccent tog actually via email because he said similar things, i have apoligised now and explained and he is fine with it thank god. But these people posing could actually get girls to meet them for shoots an stuff its crazy.

Best suggestion is to do some checking on the tog before you agree to meet with him. Most are happy to supply plenty of info so that you can check them out.
