Just checked my port, only 16 of 50+ shots were shot in a studio.  Is that a bad thing?

I must admit I love the challenge of a homeshoot, work within your surroundings and limitations of the location, or outside with natural light, but is it holding me back?

Any opinions and constructive advice would be welcome.

Thanks

Glenn

Hi, each setting whether it be home studio or location has a different thing to offer.

I've been around since I was 18 (nearly 24) I've shot at each setting stated above.

I find a lot of studios have the same thing but every so often you come across one thats different. I think a studio is a good place to start a working relationship as you get to know each other but locations and homes definately have a different atmosphere and effect that comes across on the image.

I wouldnt say having a less images in your portfolio of a studio setting is good or bad thing you just prefer to shoot location or home and theres nothing wrong with that.

Some prefer studio shoots only.

I wouldnt not shoot with a photographer if he only had one setting of images.

Now ive rambled and probably made no sense i shall go and hide in the corner
