This workshop concentrates on the so called 'Strobist' style of photography in other words using small off camera flashes for creative effect.
We will start at 12:00 with a brief run through of the equipment to be used on the day and some basic principles.
The main tutorial session will follow and I'll start shooting for the day using just natural light and reflectors and gradually work through a series of headshot set-ups with a profesional model introducing different lighting sources on each occasion.

After a short break we will resume with an assignment for students to use the knowledge from the earlier session (and their own experience) to agree and shoot work of their own.  This will be guided throughout and the emphasis will be on sharing knowledge.
The day will conclude with a review of the learning and any outstanding questions.
