It makes me laugh how many people do not know what a model management company is.
(NP Edit - Emails not allowed in public areas of the site)
We are a model management company which means to the model we take raw talent and turn models into professionals by creating portfolios etc for free! We make our money by charging the model 15 - 25% commission for all work we get them.
To businesses, this means we have lots of guys and girls waiting to be picked up for work. These models have had £500 invested into them by us in creating them portfolios and various marketing material. So get in touch with us and we will be more than happy to offer advice, models, and work for you!
Regards,
Unborn Model Management.

But there are so many models been ripped off by so called 'model agencies' I know quite a few girls who have answered adverts to 'model agencies' the promise the earth before asking for a £50 deposit, they are given a very bad shoot then handed a bill for £300 So always phone the agency and ask them if they want paid if they say yes hang up and go some where else. That's one of the reason that girls have stopped going to agencies and using places like this instead.

I agree it amazes me how many of the new faces we do portfolios for have been ripped off, the latest we’ve come across is people advertising for make over models, the girls are then talked into signing what they think is a model release only to find its an agreement to buy pics from the shoot. The most recent case was £300 the girl concerned refused and was threatened with court action, a previous case the girl was charged £700 when threatened with court she paid up. It amazes us how these people continue to get away with it. We give all new faces a list of scams to avoid.

Interestingly the OP is no longer a member. I suppose we can all draw our own conclusions!

When I take on any new models, I always do a trial shoot with them to see how they are in front of the camera and seeing if modelling is really for them and they get all the photographs on CD free of charge. If I use them I get paid by the clients and then I pay the model, its a win win situation for both of us building up trust is the number 1 thing for these girls some of them are very nieve and will believe anything anyone will tell them because they want stardom so much. I am very upfront with the girls and I will tell them if they fit the bill, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind and they are let down gently now better then them suffering later when they try with agencies and they constantly are told no, but with the trail they get with me at least they have a CD of photos to remember when they nearly made it as a model and that is so important, that they have been given a chance and have something to remember it by.
