Hi lovely photographers!

I'm running in the Adidas 24 hour Thunder Run in Catton Park, Staffordshire on 31 July 2010. Yes, I'm doing it solo this year!! ekk :) Running as many 10k laps I can in 24 hours!

The Adidas Thunder Run was first launched last year and will be an even bigger success this year.

If you're interested in taking some pictures of me or other runners then please feel free to come along. I believe there's free camping onsite. I had my picture published in Runner's World magazine, November 2009.

Whilst applauding your post, I feel I must ask, why you are inviting photographers to do this.
Are you seeking "free" photo's of yourself

What would pictures of runners do for most photographers portfolio's on here

Normally at such events there will be an official photographer, who will already be supplying images to the media and possibly like myself offering them for sale as prints or web res files on the day and via a website.

Last year I did several of the Race For Life events, and am seeking to do them again

Hey,I'm interested in fitness Modelling and wondered if there were any photographers out there interested in this market as well so thought maybe I could tie in my event with a tfcd shoot.Also, just wanted to let everyone know about the event because I think it's quite different and exciting. The location is beautiful as well.I'll check with the organiser about photographers- I'm sure there were a numbed last year. You're right I'm sure photographers will sell on their pics- as the event will be substantially bigger this year, it might be a good opportunity (e.g. Sell pics, etc.). The event has a number of sponsors I think.Other than that, photographers could take part in the race !! :)A xx
