Briefly.
My workshops are based on confidence building to make you a better photographer. The more familiar you are with your techniques and equipment and working with models will lead to more confidence which in turn leads to better results

I will teach you
The etiquette of working with models and how to build a good relationship and trust based on mutual respect.Lighting basics for glamour and tutor you in the basics of modifying light sources for hard and soft light by giving advice and demonstrations.

We'll look at posing and you'll have notes to take away with you as well as a useful posing guide you can use at your own future shootsI’ll lead the practical with a short demonstration shoot with Chacha and guide you all the way through before everyone takes turns to duplicate what I’ve shown you.
There will be a big practical involvement for all attending and everyone will learn many tricks and trade secrets on getting the best from your equipment and your model. Posing techniques are covered as the day develops.

Throughout the day you’ll be learning as you shoot.I'll show you the essential Photoshop skills you'll need to make the very best of your images including all my secrets of skin tone improvements and the final part of making the picture pop and have true depth.

The final part of the day will be given over to the group to try out their new learned skills. I’ll be on hand to assist each person individually to help develop their skills and to answer any questions they have. By the end of the day you’ll be shooting portfolio standard images that are stylish and glamourous.Refreshments are provided throughout the day.

The time and effort that he spends with you before the shoot, during the day and afterwards is second to none.  I would highly recommend that you attend one of these tuition days…as it makes you feel so much more confident and competent.

Ref workshop 8th Nov 2009   "I had a very informative tuition session in a studio with Ed today.  The tuition itself is full of 'oh so THATS how I do that!!' moments and flows really well, and Ed doesn't attempt to hide all the tricks of the trade behind fancy wording and complicated methods - its very much a down to earth 'this is what you do to achieve this look' deal.  Ed runs through some things before hand, explains setting up and selection of lighting, using terminology that is easy to remember and translate into other environments, and then you shoot. Its really that easy to improve your glamour photography.  Ed also runs through some Photoshop and camera raw stuff and shows you how to achieve that punchy image quality.
